A confidential client in the energy sector is seeking a Senior PMO & Innovation Consultant to support the development and professionalisation of its Project Management Office (PMO). The assignment involves assessing PMO maturity, strengthening governance and portfolio management, and implementing structured methodologies. The consultant will also support reporting, data-driven transformation, innovation and continuous improvement, working with management, project managers and operational teams to implement sustainable improvements and transfer knowledge.
> Profile and essential requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Innovation Consultant.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Proven experience managing transformation projects towards data-driven solutions and organisational cultures.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience establishing or professionalising a Project Management Office (PMO).
- Proven experience organising and facilitating innovation and AI workshops.
- Strong understanding of project governance, portfolio management and project delivery.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Dutch at CEFR C2 level – mandatory.

- Previous experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience in Process Engineering, Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
- Experience developing sustainable energy balance models supported by structured data models for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Strong understanding of business processes and process optimisation.
- Experience preparing or managing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
- Knowledge of PRINCE2, PMI, Agile or Management of Portfolios (MoP).
- Familiarity with Project Portfolio Management tools and reporting solutions such as MS Project, Planview or Power BI.
- Experience within public-sector or semi-public organisations.
