For one of its clients in the Belgian public sector, Confidential client is seeking a developer to join a team developing and modernising business-critical digital applications. The consultant will contribute to strategic digitalisation projects supporting environmental policies, regulatory processes and administrative services. Responsibilities include designing, developing and maintaining applications and RESTful APIs, implementing data access solutions, and analysing requirements to deliver reliable software. The role also involves testing and troubleshooting, maintaining existing applications, collaborating throughout the software development lifecycle, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews, and supporting technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
> Profile and essential requirements
Minimum 3 years of demonstrable professional experience in .NET application development. Excellent knowledge of C# with at least 36 months of hands-on development experience. Strong knowledge of ASP.NET and .NET Core. Proven experience developing and integrating Web APIs. Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core). Proven experience working with Oracle databases. Demonstrable knowledge of Angular 20 or higher. Relevant technical education, certification or equivalent professional experience in software development.
Dutch: CEFR C2 – Mandatory.
