Junior Functional Analyst – SAP IS-U & Energy Market (MIG6)

Support a major market transformation programme by contributing to regulatory and operational changes affecting energy market exchanges, particularly CMS 2.0, MIG6/MIG-DGO protocols and SAP IS-U. Analyse business requirements, functional principles and use cases; assess impacts on market exchange processes and SAP IS-U; translate business needs into functional specifications, business rules, impact assessments and process documentation; investigate flow, data exchange and interface issues; identify dependencies, risks and improvements; and propose solutions aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements and operational constraints. Prepare test scenarios, cases and datasets; participate in SIT and UAT; analyse results, investigate discrepancies and follow up on defects; support end-to-end testing, maintain documentation and traceability, and provide functional support during deployment, transition and hypercare. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, testers and application specialists, participate in working groups and alignment sessions, communicate progress, risks, unresolved issues and escalation decisions, ensure consistency between business expectations and technical implementation, and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
> Profile and essential requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Functional Analyst.
- At least 1 year of experience working with SAP IS-U as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst within the energy sector.
- Practical knowledge of Belgian energy market processes and MIG6/MIG-DGO protocols.
- Proven experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Ability to bridge business requirements and IT constraints.
- Understanding of the interactions between Belgian energy market participants.
- French C2, both spoken and written.

- English B2 or higher.
