Senior IT Project Manager – Infrastructure & Digital Transformation

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure, collaboration and digital transformation projects within a large and structured environment. The role covers end-to-end project delivery, governance, stakeholder and supplier coordination, change management, business adoption, and continuous quality improvement across traditional and Agile environments. What we're looking for - Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure and/or software development projects. - Significant experience managing projects within an Agile environment. - Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects involving intranet and collaboration technologies. - Demonstrated experience managing projects involving SharePoint development. - Minimum 10 years of project management experience in digital transformation initiatives. - Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects within the public sector. - Minimum 5 years of experience in change management. - Strong knowledge of project management terminology, governance, roles and processes, including methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent. - Ability to operate as a subject-matter expert and transfer project management knowledge to others. - Dutch at CEFR C2 level – mandatory. Nice-to-have - Experience managing projects within the public transport sector. - Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools, including risk management, issue management, planning and dependency management, and project governance and reporting. - Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with ITIL. - Strong proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office. - Expertise in process optimisation and continuous quality improvement, ideally based on Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies. - Project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP/PMI or equivalent is highly preferred. Additional details The role involves leading end-to-end IT infrastructure and/or application development projects; defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, planning and governance; and managing risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation actions. Responsibilities include coordinating internal teams, external suppliers and key stakeholders; managing projects in traditional and Agile environments; and leading IT infrastructure, digital transformation, intranet and collaboration platform, and SharePoint development and migration projects. The role also includes ensuring project reporting, governance and stakeholder communication; driving change management activities and supporting business adoption; aligning with IT service management processes and ITIL principles; applying PRINCE2 and/or PMBOK; providing expert guidance and transferring project management knowledge to other stakeholders; and contributing to process optimisation and continuous quality improvement, including Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies where relevant.
