ICT Helpdesk Support – 1st & 2nd Line

For a local public-sector organisation in Blankenberge, we are looking for an ICT Helpdesk Support professional to strengthen the internal ICT team. You will provide first-line and second-line IT support to employees and help ensure that the organisation’s day-to-day ICT environment remains reliable, accessible and efficient. The role combines technical user support, workstation management and administrative support within the ICT department. You will work independently while collaborating closely with the wider ICT team. What we're looking for - Minimum 3 years of experience as a 1st and 2nd line Helpdesk / ICT Support professional - Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience with the relevant ICT technologies - Dutch at CEFR C2 level - Strong communication skills - High level of autonomy and ability to work independently. Should-have requirements: Basic knowledge of ITIL Service Support; Experience with standard PC installations; Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 at 1st and 2nd line level; General Active Directory knowledge; General Windows knowledge; Basic networking knowledge. - Independent working - ITIL Service Support - Standard PC installations - Microsoft Office - Microsoft 365 - Active Directory - Windows - Basic networking - Hardware troubleshooting - Software troubleshooting - User-access troubleshooting - Computer installation and configuration - Software installation and configuration - Peripheral device installation and configuration - Fixed and mobile telephony support - Incident and request follow-up Nice-to-have - Previous experience working for a local government or public-sector organisation. - We are looking for a hands-on ICT Support professional who enjoys helping users and solving technical problems. - You are comfortable working directly with end users, can communicate technical information clearly, and are able to manage incidents independently. - A customer-oriented mindset, strong communication skills and a practical problem-solving approach are essential for this assignment. - ['Previous experience working for a local government or public-sector organisation'] Additional details Main responsibilities: Provide 1st and 2nd line ICT support to employees; Handle technical questions, incidents and end-user issues in a customer-oriented and efficient manner; Troubleshoot hardware, software and user-access issues; Install, configure and maintain computers, software and peripheral devices; Support fixed and mobile telephony; Prepare and configure ICT equipment for new employees; Ensure that existing equipment remains operational and properly maintained; Support users with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365; Provide support related to Windows environments; Perform basic Active Directory administration and troubleshooting; Provide basic network support; Carry out administrative tasks within the ICT department; Follow up incidents and requests and ensure clear communication with users; Work independently while collaborating closely with the wider ICT team.
