IAM & Security Automation Specialist

A large organisation operating in a complex enterprise IT environment is looking for an IAM & Security Automation Specialist to strengthen its Infrastructure and Security teams. The consultant will focus on Identity & Access Management, including the support and evolution of SailPoint, identity lifecycle management, access governance and security operations automation. The assignment also involves improving and automating certificate lifecycle and renewal processes in a Microsoft Windows environment to reduce manual interventions, improve reliability and ensure continuity of security services. The role combines hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, scripting, process improvement and documentation. What we're looking for - Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator. - Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Identity & Access Management. - Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access management and/or identity governance. - Hands-on enterprise experience with SailPoint. - Proven experience supporting IAM and/or security solutions in complex enterprise environments. - Proven experience working within Microsoft Windows-based infrastructure environments. - Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python or equivalent technologies. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities. - Fluent English – mandatory. - Fluent French or Dutch – mandatory. - Good knowledge of the other national language – mandatory. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset. - Autonomous and proactive. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to work across Security, Infrastructure and Application teams. - Structured problem-solving approach. - Strong documentation skills. - Continuous improvement mindset. Nice-to-have - Experience with access reviews and periodic recertification. - Experience with RBAC, role modelling and/or role mining. - Knowledge of LDAP, Kerberos, OIDC and SSO. - Experience with ITIL processes, particularly Change Management. - Knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or NIST. - Experience with certificate lifecycle management and certificate renewal automation. - Experience integrating IAM platforms with enterprise applications and infrastructure. Additional details Responsibilities include supporting IAM initiatives and identity lifecycle processes; managing and troubleshooting access provisioning and deprovisioning; supporting SailPoint and integrations with enterprise systems; and contributing to IAM workflow optimisation, identity governance and access certification. The consultant will develop and maintain automation scripts, support Windows-based IAM and security activities, troubleshoot identity, authentication, permissions and security-service issues, and support infrastructure and security changes. The role also includes security project support, testing and implementation of changes, incident and operational follow-up, technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of IAM and security processes.
